Algonquin Park

What a treat! The fall colours were out in all their splendor during my first visit to Algonquin Park. I went up for a day trip with some fellow photographers and am pretty happy with the shots I came away with. Algonquin Park is the oldest provincial park in Ontario and one of the largest,it’s about 3 hours North East from Toronto which makes it a pretty popular destination. Luckily, it’s big enough that you can usually have some peace and quiet away from the masses. The fall colours are a pretty popular attraction however and it’s easy to see why. We still had a great day though it was a bit busy, I would love to make it back to the park again sometime next year for a bit of a longer stay as one day just isn’t enough.
